This is a pending patent on:

Work gloves with a magnetized fingertip. This patented idea also includes various configurations of magnetic finger gloves including a glove for one finger only. This invention is patent pending so making, using, offering for sale, importing, or selling the invention without permission will be prohibited upon patent issuance.

It was created because:

Installing small hardware, such as nuts and bolts, in hard to reach places can be difficult and often results in dropped material. The magnet helps to secure the hardware for installation and makes the possibility of dropping it less likely. There are also circumstances where retrieving a small metal object is easiest to do by using the reach of one’s finger.

The benefits of using such a device:

The magnetic force is strong enough to hold small metal pieces, but weak enough that it doesn’t interfere with normal working conditions. There’s no need to find a retrieval tool in some situations because it is already a part of the work gear being used on the job. It’s already in your hands.

How to use the device:

Place it on your hands like any pair of gloves and use the magnetized end to help prevent losing small pieces.
